The following are the instructions of posting. (Editor's Note: Details omitted)

HOW DO I SELECT MY PHOTOS FOR POSTING

In general, just choose the best ones that you have taken. The competition is grouped into 9 categories, so you can select yourphotos by matching them with the categories. You may want to cover as many categories as possible to increase your chance of winning. Note that some photos are automatically eligible to compete inmultiple categories.

WHAT ARE THE CATEGORIES

The Categories are:
1. the best pose 最佳造型照
2. the funniest 最攪笑照
3. the most memorable 最令人回味照
4. the best solo 最佳個人照
5. the best group (two or more people) 最佳組合照
6. the best complete delegation family shot (see note) 最佳合家歡照
7. the best on-stage competition/performance 最佳台上照
8. the best scenic 最佳風景照
9. others (one that does not fit in any of the above categories)

WILL THERE BE ANY PRIZE

Yes, there will be 3 prizes for each category. Each winner will receive a small gift as prize.

HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN I POST

Each person is allowed to posted up to 10 photos on the "WHF 2005 Delegation Photography Competition" Blog.

WHAT IS THE DEADLINE OF SUBMISSION

The deadline is 24th November.

HOW WILL MY PHOTOS BY JUDGED

We will print a copy of your submitted photos on 8R paper. At the celebration dinner, all photo entries will be posted on bulletin boards. The members themselves will cast votes to elect the best photos. Each member can cast 2 votes for each category. He/she can vote for his own photo if he/she feels his/hers is the best in the category. We will appoint a jury of 3 persons. Their jobs are:
1. To take the votes from the ballot box, call the numbers and count the votes.
2. In case of two entries sharing the same number of votes, they cancast a vote to one of the photos as a deciding vote.
3. Make final decision in case of any disputes.

SUPPLEMENTARY COMPETITION RULES

1. Although some photos are eligible for multiple categories, only one prize will be given to a photo. Priority of winning is ranking, then number of votes. Example: If a solo photo wins 1st place in Best Pose Category, and 2nd place in Solo Category, then Solo Category is discounted. Subsequently, the 3rd place of Solo Category will become the 2nd place, and the 4th become the 3rd.

2. I would like to add the flexibility to the competition by allowing nominations. Some of us like David, Rocky and myself, have copies of photos taken by others. If you think a certain photo is good, please nominate it for competition, but the credit still goes to the photographer (with exception, see below). In that case, you should specify two persons' names for "Taken By" and "Nominated By".

3. The contestant for a photo is the photographer, i.e. the person who shot the photo, and not necessarily the person who own the photo. But if you like the photo taken for you by someone and you forgot who took it, then you can be the nominator of the photo. If no one claims to be the photographer, then you get the prize instead of the photographer.

There's got to be loop-holes in the rules. Please don't take this competition too seriously. The idea is to have fun and share good photos.
